This is one of the best plays ever written. But, when it was first produced a lot of people thought it was not so hot. Many walked out on the play when it was first performed. One of my favorite writers, Alexander Woolcott, “convinced the director and producer to give it another try” when it was not well received in Boston. Good to know. How many times do we give up on things we believe in… what would happen if we persevered, or had a champion who encouraged us to persevere?
